Cannabix Technologies Inc. is a technology development company, which is engaged in marijuana breathalyzer development for law enforcement and workplace testing. The Company is developing drug-testing devices that detect tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) using breath samples. It has a portfolio of breath testing technologies, which are engaged in bringing portable hand-held tools to the market to enhance detection of marijuana impaired driving offences. The devices are used to detect the use of THC at the roadside to identify drivers intoxicated by the use of marijuana. In particular, it is focused on developing breath testing devices for THC detection that focuses use of THC, (within a two hour time period at time of testing) in contrast to saliva or urine testing for THC, which tests positive for periods long after intoxication has worn off. Its devices are also useful for other practical applications, such as testing employees in the workplace where intoxication by THC is hazardous.
